Our Story

Waters Edge Marsworth is situated just outside Tring in the Chilterns “an area of outstanding natural beauty”. We are an independently owned, family run restaurant with a sole purpose of serving delicious food and drinks in our idyllic location. We are extremely fortunate to have so many phenomenal suppliers in the area and our expert team of chefs match our passion for all things local. Since taking over the restaurant (Formally Bluebells Tearooms) we have done a thorough 6 month renovation of every area including moving in our sister company Little Tring Cakes, to the bakery upstairs so all of our cakes and pastries are prepared on site daily.

We are open 7 days a week with our all day brunch menu, some of our favourites include our Waters Edge Burger made with a locally sourced beef patty, Breakfast Bap made using local bacon and Wendover Royal sausages and our now locally famous and best-selling Cinnamon Buns served warm with cream cheese icing. We are also open Thursday, Friday & Saturday evenings until 11pm with a whole new small plates and tapas menu.

We are lucky to have the amazing supplier Tring winery on our doorstep and offer an extensive wine list which expertly matches our dishes and also features wine from local vineyards. If you would like to indulge in an aperitif or cocktail(s), we have curated a fabulous handcrafted cocktail list inclusive of favourites such as Puddingstone Distillery’s Vesper Gin Martini, Cucorum’s Mojito and our best-selling Americano and Porn Start Martini. We have a number of beers available both on draft and bottled.
